  • The first 24 hours is crucial for a full glue cure so please avoid rubbing, tugging and brushing. Do not get your lashes wet for the first 24 hours or apply any products. Thereafter follow the aftercare below.

  • For 48 hours afterwards do not steam your face, use a steam bath, swim or wash your face with hot water.

  • Do not use oil based products, removers or creams near the eyes as this will affect the glue.

  • Use water based products where possible.

  • No mascara!!! By applying mascara it may make refills difficult to apply as the area is not clear of residue.

  • Use a cotton bud to remove makeup around the eye to avoid disturbing the lashes and glue.

  • Natural skin oils from your sebaceous glands will break down a glue bond as much as oil based products so it is essential after the first 24 hours to clean your lash line. Many clients say “I have been really good and not touched them” but it can be a massive down fall not to maintain your lashes. You can lose more extensions by not doing this. Try using baby shampoo and distilled water.

  • Do not tint, perm or use eyelash curlers.

  • Avoid rubbing eyes or pulling on extensions as they will pull out your own natural lashes and create gaps that can not be filled.

  • Please do not try to remove lashes yourself. Come back to have them properly removed.

  • Refills will be needed every 2-3 weeks depending on the person, their lash cycle and what stage of the 60-90 day cycle they are at.

  • you will be given a small brush to help brush extensions into place every morning.

  • Avoid extreme heat such as saunas and steam directly onto the extensions.

  • You will lose 1-7 natural lashes a day and 70-90 every two weeks, this is normal.

  • Based on how many natural lashes you have to apply extensions to will determine how often you have refills and if your hair growth cycle is at a certain stage. You will have times when extensions will look better than others.

  • Your sleeping positions may need to be adjusted or you will find that one side may fall out quicker than the other side.

  • The length and thickness of extensions is purely based on what the natural lashes can support.

  • It’s a myth that lash extensions last 6 weeks. They last 2-3 weeks before refills and how long you chose to maintain them will determine how long they last.

  • Contact lens wearers need to be careful as any particles from the glue can irritate the eye while wearing contacts.

  • despite skin testing if you have any problems with the extensions please contact me ASAP to remove your lashes.
